The Climate, Disaster and Development Journal (CDDJ) brings together interdisciplinary scholarship concerned with how societies understand, experience, and respond to environmental change and disaster risk.

The journal welcomes work that connects rigorous inquiry with policy and practice, places global challenges in dialogue with local knowledge, and advances resilient, equitable, and sustainable pathways for development.

Focus and scope

CDDJ covers the interacting environmental, social, economic, institutional, and cultural dimensions of climate change, disasters, resilience, and development. Its audience includes researchers, educators, practitioners, policy professionals, and communities engaged in these fields.
